Toba Lake in North Sumatra, Indonesia

Do you ever hear about Indonesia? If not, please visit Indonesia. Indonesia is an archipelago country that has many species of flora and fauna. The number of islands in Indonesia is 17.508, but several islands still have no name. Now, I will talk about Sumatra Island especially in the North Sumatra province. Recently, I and my family visited Toba Lake. Then, we went by car from Asahan to Pemantang Siantar is around 3 hours. After that, we rent a home-stay which is the price around IDR 300-500 for 24 hours.

In the morning, the air was very cold, especially the water at the home stay, oh my God (freezing) but I love it. Then, we stay at the home-stay. The picture on the left side is me and my little brothers in the home stay forecourt. They are so cute and we enjoy the breakfast (fried rice with egg) which provided by the waiter. Besides that, the scene in the forecourt of the home-stay is beautiful. The weather is nice, make me feel happy.

  

We spend all day to exploring Toba Lake but I cannot go to Samosir island because my father did not permit to go there. I feel sad to hear that, he worried with my safety. At the first time, I cannot accept my father reason because it's unbelievable. Then, I agree with my father's decision because I respect his decision. I hope later (in the future), I can go to Samosir island. I also bought souvenirs and Medan mango. The small and yellow mango and tastes sweet.

The picture above is Bataknese culture on Samosir island. They have the traditional dance called Tor-tor and Bolon house as their traditional house (home).

I take many selfie on the background of Toba Lake with my brothers and sister. My father prefers to enjoy the holiday with lie down on the mat and take a rest with my mother. I wish, we can travel around the Indonesia and/or go to overseas hahaha. the first place we want to visit is Mekah and Madinah, it is not only great for traveling but also for praying.
